 Mos Def's credits as a rap musician include the hit album "Black on Both Sides." As an actor, his films include "Bamboozled," "Monster's Ball," "The Italian Job" and "Brown Sugar," for which he received an NAACP Image Award nomination. He also starred in the Tony nominated, Pulitzer Prize-winning play "TopDog/Underdog" on Broadway, and received an Obie Award for the off-Broadway play "Fucking A." Mos Def hosts the acclaimed HBO series "Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry," which kicks off a new season later this year. His other TV credits include guest roles on "Spin City" "NYPD Blue" and "The Dave Chappelle Show." He is currently filming "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."
