David M. Thompson (Executive Producer) is head of BBC Films. His executive producer credits include, among others, "Dirty Pretty Things," "Iris," "Billy Elliot," "Sylvia," "Code 46," "I Capture the Castle," "In This World," "Tomorrow La Scala!" and "Mansfield Park." Thompson has executive produced such TV films as "This Little Life," "The Lost Prince," "Out of Control," HBO's "The Gathering Storm" and "Conspiracy," and "Perfect Strangers," among others. His producer credits include the original, award-winning "Shadowlands" and Alan Clarke's "The Firm."
