Philip Baker Hall (Arthur Schulte) has frequently worked with director Paul
Thomas Anderson, appearing in Anderson's films "Magnolia," "Boogie Nights," "Hard
Eight" and "Cigarettes and Coffee." Hall's other film credits include the upcoming
"Dogville," as well as "The Insider," "Rush Hour," "The Talented Mr. Ripley," "The Sum
of All Fears," "Bruce Almighty," and John Frankenheimer's "Path to War" for HBO. Hall
received acclaim for his portrayal of Richard Nixon in the one-man stage show "Secret
Honor," which was adapted for the 1984 film of the same name, directed by Robert
Altman.
