Samantha Morton (Myra Hindley) was nominated for an Academy Award® and an Independent Spirit Award for Jim Sheridan's "In America," and was nominated for a SAG Award with the acting ensemble. For her standout performance in Woody Allen's "Sweet and Lowdown," she won the 2001 London Critics Circle Award and was nominated for an Oscar® and a Golden Globe. Morton's performance in "Under the Skin" earned her best actress award from the Boston Society of Film Critics and a British Independent Film Award nomination. Her additional credits include "Minority Report," "Enduring Love," "The Libertine," "Jesus' Son," "Pandaemonium," "Code 46," "River Queen" and "Lassie."
