Samantha Morton (Myra Hindley) was nominated for an Academy Award® and an Independent Spirit Award for Jim Sheridan's "In America," and was nominated for a SAG Award with the acting ensemble. For her standout performance in Woody Allen's "Sweet and Lowdown," she won the 2001 London Critics Circle Award and was nominated for an Oscar® and a Golden Globe. Morton's performance in "Under the Skin" earned her best actress award from the Boston Society of Film Critics and a British Independent Film Award nomination. Her additional credits include "Minority Report," "Enduring Love," "The Libertine," "Jesus' Son," "Pandaemonium," "Code 46," "River Queen" and "Lassie." She can also be seen in the upcoming films "Expired," "Mister Lonely," Anton Corbijn's "Control" and as Mary, Queen of Scots in "The Golden Age."
