Janet McTeer received a Golden Globe for Best Actress for
"Tumbleweeds," as well as a Best Actress award from the National Board of Review, and
numerous other nominations. McTeer recently starred in Kenneth Branagh's HBO Films
presentation "As You Like It" and is currently filming "Churchill: The War Years," playing
Clemmie Churchill opposite Brendan Gleason.
Her feature film credits also include
"Tideland," "The Intended," "The King Is Alive," "Songcatcher," "Waking the Dead,"
"Velvet Goldmine," "Carrington," "Wuthering Heights" and "Half Moon Street." Her
television credits also include ""Sense and Sensibility," "The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard,"
"Marple: The Murder at the Vicarage" and "The Governor."
