Michael Stipe (executive producer) has been the singer/songwriter with the best selling band R.E.M. since its formation in 1979. In addition, Mr. Stipe has forged two film production companies, Single Cell Pictures (started in 1995) and C-Hundred Film Corp (1987). His production credits include "Being John Malkovich," "American Movie," "Velvet Goldmine," "Spring Forward," "Girls Town," "Our Song," and HBO's "Stranger Inside." The upcoming "Saved" (United Artists) and "Brother to Brother" premiered at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival.
