Wes Studi (Wovoka) will next be seen in the miniseries "Comanche Moon," as
well as the films "Cosmic Radio" and "Three Priests." His recent credits include the
feature film "The New World" and the PBS films "Skinwalkers," "Coyote Waits" and "Thief
of Time." A full-blooded member of the Cherokee nation, Studi began his acting career
on the Oklahoma stage and made his film debut in the independent film "Powwow
Highway." His other movies include "Dances with Wolves," "The Last of the Mohicans"
(for which he won the Chicago Film Critics Award), "Geronimo: An American Legend,"
"Streetfighter," "Heat," "Deep Rising," "Wind River," "The Mystery Men," "Undisputed" and
"Animal." Among his TV credits are "Into the West," "The Broken Chain," "Crazy Horse,"
"The Long Ranger," "Streets of Laredo" and "Return to Plum Creek." Studi is a recent
recipient of the Golden Boot Award.
