Anna Paquin won an Academy Award® for Best Supporting
Actress for her film debut at age 11 in "The Piano." She recently finished production on
"Blue State," in which she stars and serves as executive producer. She will next be seen
in Kenneth Lonergan's "Margaret," starring opposite Matt Damon, Mark Ruffalo and
Matthew Broderick. Her other film credits include "X-Men" and its two sequels, "The
Squid and The Whale," "25th Hour," "Buffalo Soldiers," "Finding Forester," "Almost
Famous," "Hurlyburly," "She's All That," "A Walk on the Moon," "All the Rage," "Amistad,"
"Fly Away Home" and "Jane Eyre." On stage, Paquin received a Best Lead Actress
Drama Desk nomination for her stage debut in Rebecca Gilman's "The Glory of Living,"
directed by Phillip Seymour Hoffman, at New York's MCC Theater, followed by a critically
acclaimed performance in "This Is Our Youth." Her other stage credits include "After
Ashley" and "The Distance from Here."
