Aidan Quinn began his acting career on the Chicago stage, and
went on to play the lead in a modern-day "Hamlet." He's starred on Broadway in "A
Streetcar Named Desire" and off-Broadway in "Fool for Love," "Lie of the Mind," "The
Exonerated" and "Salome." Quinn's TV credits include "An Early Frost," for which he was
Emmy(r)-nominated, and HBO's "Empire Falls" and "Perfect Witness," as well as "The
Book of Daniel," "A Private Matter," "The Two of Us," "Plainsong" and "See You in My
Dreams." Among his feature film credits are "Reckless," "Desperately Seeking Susan,"
"Stakeout," "The Playboys," "Benny and Joon," "Avalon," "The Mission," "Blink," "Legends
of the Fall," "Michael Collins," "Looking for Richard," "The Assignment," "Music of the
Heart," "Nine Lives," "Practical Magic" and "Songcatcher." In Ireland, he produced and
starred in "This Is My Father," and starred in "Evelyn" and "Song for a Raggy Boy," a
Sundance and Tribeca Film Festival selection, earning a Best Actor nomination at the
Irish Film Awards. He was recently nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for his
performance in "Cavedweller." Quinn's upcoming films include "Dark Matter" and "32A."
