Adam Beach recently earned critical acclaim for Clint
Eastwood's "Flags of Our Fathers" and will soon join the cast of "Law & Order: Special
Victims Unit." Beach first earned critical acclaim for his performance in "Smoke Signals,"
followed by John Woo's "Windtalkers," opposite Nicolas Cage. His many film credits also
include "The Big Empty," "The Art of Woo," "Posers," "Last Stop," "Now and Forever," "My
Indian Summer" (which brought him an award for Best Actor in a Feature Film from First
Americans in the Arts), "A Boy Called Hate," "The Adventures of Joe Dirt," "Mystery,
Alaska" and "Dance Me Outside" (which brought him a Best Actor award from the
American Indian Film Festival). On TV, Beach's credits include the movies "Johnny
Total," "Skinwalkers" and "Spirit Rider," as well as series such as "JAG," "Third Watch,"
"The Dead Zone," "Lonesome Dove," "Touched by an Angel," "Walker, Texas Ranger,"
"Madison" and "Dead Man's Gun." Beach's Canadian credits include "The Rez," "First
Wave" and the upcoming comedy series "Moose TV." A member of the Ojibwa Nation,
Beach was born in Manitoba, Canada and began acting in Winnipeg as a teenager. His
first lead film role was in "Squanto: A Warrior's Tale," opposite Mandy Patinkin. Beach
also stars in the upcoming miniseries "Comanche Moon."
