Larry Charles

Executive Producer

Larry Charles has served as writer, producer, supervising producer, and executive producer on two of modern television's most successful comedies, "Seinfeld" and "Mad About You." For this he has received numerous accolades, including two Emmys, a Golden Globe and a Peabody Award.

After directing multiple episodes of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" over the last three seasons, for which he has been nominated for both the DGA award and an Emmy, he is currently serving as Executive Producer on "Curb Your Enthusiasm's" fourth season while continuing to direct numerous episodes.

His controversial theatrical directorial debut, "Masked & Anonymous", co-written with and starring Bob Dylan and featuring an all star cast including Jeff Bridges, Jessica Lange, John Goodman, Luke Wilson, Penelope Cruz, Ed Harris, Val Kilmer and Mickey Rourke, was the centerpiece premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, it has also been a featured selection at the Viennalle Film Festival, the Athens International Film Festival, the Stockholm Film Festival, the Rotterdam Film Festival, the Cameraimage Film Festival, and has opened across the country and around the world.

Charles also developed and served as executive producer of the Emmy award-winning, animated series, "Dilbert," and of the live-action version of the cult underground comic, "The Tick."

Larry Charles has been the subject of other artists' work as well, appearing as a character in Peter Farrelly's novel, "The Comedy Writer," and profiled in David Wild's best-seller, "The Showrunners."

He currently lives in Los Angeles.
