Human Rights Watch (HRW) is an international nongovernmental organization that monitors, documents, reports on and advocates for an end to human rights abuses throughout the world. The group promotes human rights values as expressed in international human rights treaties and international human rights law.
Since 2001, ICTJ has provided technical assistance to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Special Court for Sierra Leone. ICTJ has also worked to encourage public participation in these processes through workshops and the production of Citizen's Handbook.
