TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. In 2011, the artist JR won the TED Prize - awarded annually to an individual to help them spark global change. His wish was to use art to help turn the world INSIDE OUT.
From April 22 to May 10, 2013, The Times Square Arts, the public arts program of the Times Square Alliance, welcomed JR’s global initiative INSIDE OUT PROJECT, the large-scale participatory art project featured in the film to Times Square.
