A non-denominational UK charity devoted to the care of babies and young children kept in China's orphanages. Donations can be made to specifically help the search for Chen Jie and other stolen children.
Save the Children seeks solutions for children threatened by poverty, disease, injustice and violence. Around the world there are 27 national Save the Children organizations, active in over 110 countries. In China, Save the Children's global alliance is represented by Save the Children UK. The group's operations range from direct assistance to the most remote and deprived communities in partnership with local authorities and civil society to advising the makers of national policy.
UNICEF works with the Government of China to support child health and nutrition, good water and sanitation, quality basic education for boys and girls, and the protection of children from violence, exploitation, and AIDS. UNICEF is on the ground in over 150 countries and territories to help children survive and thrive, from early childhood through adolescence. UNICEF's work in China includes activities related to Research, Monitoring and Evaluation as well as the development of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials.
ECPAT or 'End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes' is a network of organizations and individuals working together to eliminate the commercial sexual exploitation of children.
