Childhelp USA Childhelp USA® directly serves abused and neglected children through the Childhelp USA National Child Abuse Hotline 1-800-4-A-CHILD® (1-800-422-4453) -- a confidential, toll-free lifeline for: Children who are being abused and want assistance, adult survivors of child abuse who are feeling unsafe or suicidal, parents seeking help and information, and individuals requesting the local telephone number to report cases of abuse. In addition, Childhelp offers residential treatment facilities; child advocacy centers; group homes; foster family recruitment, training and certification; and child abuse prevention programs. Survivors of Abuse in Religion (SOAR) The SOAR internet support groups function primarily through an anonymous mailing list devoted to the discussion of sexual abuse by religious leaders, without regard to religion, country, denomination, gender or any other factor. It is only open to survivors and supporters of those abused by religious leaders - the list does not accept abusers themselves. SOAR is founded on the free exchange of information to prevent future suffering and help heal those struggling with abuse issues. Learn more.
