In January 2007, a man named Molotov Alva disappeared from his California home, just as a series of video dispatches by a traveler with the same name began to appear inside Second Life, a popular virtual community. The first documentary shot entirely in virtual reality, the film presents those dispatches and reveals what he learned on his journey.
