Holly McGeogh was an Army PFC assigned to Company A, 4th Forward Support Battalion, 4th Infantry Division of Fort Hood, Tex. She was killed when her vehicle was hit by an explosive device during convoy operations in Kirkuk. Her mother, Paula Zasadny, and stepfather Michael share memories of Holly and read Christmas cards they received from her after her death. Holly was posthumously promoted to Army Specialist.
