HOUSE ARREST STARRING CHRIS COLOMBO: A DOCU-COMEDY BASED ON REALITY
House Arrest Home | Synopsis | Schedule
Synopsis

Before the day shifts into high gear, Chris Colombo introduces his kids and offers a tour of his house, including the clothes closet - he has a preference for color- coordinated sweat suits - and eco-farm, which includes a horse, ducks, peacocks, chickens, pheasants, goats and dogs. Then, in the company of his driver and outspoken lawyer, Colombo heads out.

HOUSE ARREST STARRING CHRIS COLOMBO: A DOCU-COMEDY BASED ON REALITY tags along as the charismatic Colombo visits a Reiki therapist, a strip club, a Bronx tailor, a church confessional, his favorite Chinese restaurant and a nightclub. Finally, Colombo races home to make his Cinderellaesque curfew and join his pals for an after- hours poker game.

Among the segments:

After deciding to attend confession for the first time in a year and searching for an open church, Colombo jokes to the priest, "I hope you brought your Jiffy Pop," when asked if he has a lot to confess.

At an exotic-dancer club, topless dancers cozy up to Colombo and wish him luck in fighting his indictment.

Colombo indulges several friends in dinner at a Chinese restaurant in New York City and then takes in the show at a theater-district cabaret, where he trades quips with a male Judy Garland impersonator. After getting stuck in major Big Apple traffic, he makes it home a minute shy of his curfew. He proceeds to play poker with pals and flirt with two women who just might add a private "happy ending" to his busy day.
