Ed Bianchi
Producer, Director
This is Ed Bianchi's first season as Producer/Director on DEADWOOD. He has two features to his credit, THE FAN for Paramount and OFF AND RUNNING, for HBO. His work in TV includes directing episodes of
HOMICIDE LIFE ON THE STREET, LAW AND ORDER SVU, THE WIRE and DEADWOOD. He's directed short films for SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE including BABIES IN MAKEUP and shorts starring BOB and RAY for their SNL Special. He also conceived and directed the musical/dance title sequences for THE COSBY SHOW. Ed has received countless awards for his work in commercials including, in 1986, "Best Director" from the Director Guild of America. Ed is married to Carla Bianchi, who plays the part of Mary Stokes on DEADWOOD, and has three children Adam, Alan and Stella.
