The Bathroom Trick
A ploy Stu Braudy uses to avoid paying the check when dining out with the Davids. When Larry accuses Stu of always heading for the men's room just before the check arrives, Stu denies it. But Larry knows a scheme when he sees it, telling Stu, "I invented that bathroom trick!"

Larry is annoyed by Stu's choice of expletive: "Everything's 'freakin'' with this guy. He can't say the word 'fuck'?"

Hit song by Alanis Morissette which is supposed to be the story of her actual breakup with a man she calls "Mr. Duplicity"; although there is much speculation about who "Mr. Duplicity" is, she has never revealed his identity--but Larry convinces her to tell him.
