Alec Berg

Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel have been working together since college where they were all editors of The Harvard Lampoon. Their first TV project was MTV Give Me Back My Life! which they wrote for Comedy Central in 1991. Following that, Berg and Schaffer wrote for Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Mandel for Saturday Night Live, before all began working on Seinfeld, which they helped run until the show was cancelled.

While at Seinfeld, the trio combined to executive produce and write seventeen episodes, among them "The Chicken Roaster" and "The Bizarro Jerry" which were nominated for Writers Guild Awards, and "The Pool Guy" which won a Writers Guild Award.

Since Seinfeld they have concentrated on feature film work, doing extensive rewrite work and penning numerous original screenplays including Eurotrip which they also directed as a team. They currently have features in development at Disney, Universal and Warner Brothers.

During season five of Curb Your Enthusiasm the trio helped Larry during the writing process and served as Consulting Producers. This season they return as Executive Producers of the show, again helping to write and also directing 4 of the 10 episodes.

They are very proud to once again help craft what they consider to be the finest show on television, although if you don't like this season it is ultimately Larry's fault.
