There are a variety of ways to use RSS feeds; the most common way is to use a dedicated news reader that displays RSS feeds. All HBO.com feeds are compatible with any reader. Based on your reader's preference, updates are delivered automatically. |

A podcast is an audio file, (i.e. a music file such as an MP3) made available online for downloading. Once downloaded, the file can be accessed anytime you like from your computer or a portable media player. |

Both a news reader and an audio player is needed to listen to HBO.com podcasts (some applications, such as Apple's iTunes functions as both). |

With the majority of HBO.com podcasts, clicking on the "Download" link will direct you to the iTunes page for that podcast where you can subscribe. For others, you can subscribe to a RSS feed by clicking on the icon for your preferred method of subscription. If a button for your preferred tool isn't provided, highlight the URL in the box next to the orange RSS icon. Right-click this link (or Control-click in MacOS) and select "Copy" or "Copy Shortcut." You may then paste the link into your podcasting software. With iTunes find this option under the "Advanced" menu as "Subscribe to podcast." |
