HBO received 101 Primetime Emmy® nominations, the most of any network for the tenth year in a row, for the upcoming 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards®, which were announced today in Los Angeles.
HBO Comedy specials were nominated for 7 Emmy Awards®. "Robin Williams: Weapons of Self Destruction" received three nominations, including Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special. "Bill Maher&But I'm Not Wrong" received two nominations, Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special and Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Special (Bill Maher). "Wanda Sykes: I'ma Be Me" also received two nominations for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special and Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Special (Wanda Sykes).
