Synopsis

Sarah Silverman is set to headline her first HBO comedy special. Taped in Los Angeles in May, the exclusive presentation 'Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles' will be presented in association with Funny Or Die and debut Saturday, November 23.

"Sarah Silverman is a fresh, fearless and utterly original comedy voice," says Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. "I'm thrilled that we can bring the humor of this unique talent to our viewers."

Sarah Silverman received an Emmy® nomination for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Comedy Series for 'The Sarah Silverman Program,' and was also nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for 'Monk.' She won an Emmy® for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics as one of the writers of a song for 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' Her feature-film credits include 'Wreck-It Ralph,' 'Take This Waltz,' 'The School of Rock' and 'Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic,' and she will soon begin production on Seth McFarlane's 'A Million Ways to Die in the West.' She previously appeared on HBO on 'Mr. Show with Bob and David,' 'The Larry Sanders Show' and 'Real Time with Bill Maher.' Silverman is the author of the New York Times bestseller The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption and Pee.
