Where else but at the USCAF could you walk into a room and see a panel that includes the likes of Steve Martin, Nora Ephron, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Walter Isaacson and Jim Barksdale. They among others, will be participating in the first-ever WorldCom Technology Summit moderated by Michael Wolff, media columnist for New York Magazine and Jonathan Weber, Editor-In-Chief of The Industry Standard. The two-day summit will consist of four panels with high-profile comedians adding their wit and expertise to the mix of entertainment and technology executives, journalists and producers. Panel topics will range from the current state of on-line entertainment to the future ways in which art and technology will merge together in the ever-evolving tapestry of the Web. On the first day, Jeffrey Katzenberg will give a special presentation on how technology has opened up the possibilities for comedy in animated movies. The presentation will include examples of the latest animation effects from Dreamwork, SKG.
