Just when you thought it was impossible to top last year's festival, the USCAF has done it again! Among the many highlights of this year's festival will be the presentation of the AFI Star Award to this year's recipient and legendary funnyman, Billy Crystal. We also welcome one of the greatest comedians of our time, Bob Newhart, who is this year's official USCAF honoree. And if it's reunions you like, the USCAF has got'em. From George Lucas, (yes, that George Lucas) along with the cast from his American film classic, "American Graffiti" to the comedy visionary Keenen Ivory Wayans and the rest of the cast from the ground-breaking variety series "In Living Color." And if that wasn't enough, the festival will revisit the parody talk-show that started it all, when Martin Mull and Fred Willard reprise their infamous roles as Barth Gimble and Jerry Hubbard in the Fernwood 2 Night 22nd Anniversary.

It was a night filled with laughter and reflection on the illustrious career of this year's USCAF honoree, Bob Newhart.
Comedian David Steinberg sat down with his good friend in front of a capacity crowd, who were all on hand to hear some great storytelling, and learn how a man who started out as an accountant, turned out to be one of the comedy world's greatest assets.
The night began with a video retrospective highlighting some of Bob's classic television moments, which had everyone howling. Then it was time for the stories from the man himself. From his first years of standup, to the appearances on Sullivan and Carson, to his hilarious vacation stories with his good pal Don Rickles, Newhart covered it all. One of the most special moments was when Newhart praised Richard Pryor as the most influential comedian over the last fifty years, and he and Steinberg shared some of Pryor's material with the audience.
