Dan Hassid Co-Executive Producer Dan has been a producer on the series since the pilot, spending most of his time on set working with the actors and directors. Previously Dan spent many years as an independent film producer. The primary collaboration during this time was with acclaimed director Allison Anders, producing "Things Behind the Sun" (Sundance Film Festival, IFP Spirit Awards nominee, Emmy nominee), "Sugar Town" (1999 Sundance Film Fest Centerpiece Premiere, IFP Spirit Award nominee), "Grace of my Heart" with exec producer Martin Scorsese (Venice and Toronto Film Festival premieres), "Mi Vida Loca" (Sundance Premiere) and "Gas Food Lodging" (Sundance premiere and IFP Spirit Award Winner). Some of Dan's other projects include the Rodrigo Garcia film "Ten Tiny Love Stories" and "Swimming with Sharks."
