NO PURCHASE NECESSARY - HOW TO ENTER: Visit www.HBO.com from 12:01PM (ET) on 4/22/03 through 11:59 AM (ET) on 6/8/03 and follow the on-screen directions to enter the required information. Limit one online entry per person/e-mail address. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned.
- RANDOM DRAWING: Winner will be selected in a random drawing to be conducted on or about 6/11/03, from among all eligible entries received by D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final. Winner will be notified by phone/mail. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.
- PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: (1) Grand Prize - A 5-day/4-night trip for two to Umbria, Italy, including round-trip coach air transportation to/from the major commercial airport closest to winner's home, hotel accommodations (double occupancy) selected by Sponsor, (ARV $3,000; depending on exact itinerary). Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize.
- GENERAL RULES: Open only to U.S. residents who, as of 4/22/03, are 21 years of age or older. Employees of Home Box Office, the Conde Nast Publications, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected e-mail or for any technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone lines, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. The Sponsor is not responsible for any damage to any participant's computer system/software related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this promotion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. If for any reason the promotion is canceled, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes outside control of Sponsor which impair or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the sweepstakes. In the event of termination, a notice will be posted and a random drawing will be held from all eligible entries received prior to the time of termination. Potential winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability publicity release within 10 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate will be selected. All travelers must execute a Release of Liability prior to ticketing and must possess required travel documents (i.e., passport, valid photo I.D.) prior to departure. If a minor is selected as the guest of the Grand Prize winner, winner must be his/her parent or legal guardian and must sign the Release of Liability on minor's behalf. Travel must be completed within one year of notification. Home Box Office reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use winner's name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold Sponsor and the Conde Nast Publication Inc. harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize.
