Day six starts with cloudy skies and rain showers in San Francisco -- and a $43 bacon and eggs breakfast, ouch! TV cameras, writers and fans crowded City Hall, along with SF 49er quarterback Alex Smith, who stated, "I love boxing, this is as big as it gets and it was a lot of fun."
During the short and very bumpy ride to Las Vegas, Floyd was playing the card game "spades" with his crew and had this to say:
"What a fantastic two weeks. If you all enjoyed what you saw following me on the press tour just wait until the fight. Thanks for all of your support and I will not disappoint you come May 5th."
The MGM Grand lobby was packed with fans and media. Floyd Mayweather Sr. sat next to his son on the dais where he delivered a poem questioning the talents of Oscar's new trainer, Freddie Roach. Freddie, in good humor, asked the writers to help him pen some of his own poems.
Off to our last and final stop, Los Angeles!
