In a heavyweight main event showdown, undefeated Calvin Brock (28-0, 22 KOs), of Charlotte, NC, takes on fellow undefeated heavyweight Timur Ibragimov (21-0-1, 13 KOs), originally from Uzbekistan, now living in Hallandale, Fla., in a scheduled 12-round battle. Brock, with an 80% knockout ratio, is remarkably versatile, having competed on the 2000 American Olympic boxing team while earning a degree in business administration from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He was nicknamed "The Boxing Banker" when he landed a job at Bank of America while competing in the amateur ranks. Ibragimov, a 1996 Uzbekistan Olympian, was drawn to boxing when he saw the fame and respect bestowed upon American prize fighters while growing up in his hometown. Both men look to continue their undefeated streaks and make a statement in the unsettled heavyweight division.

The night's opening bout features another pair of undefeated fighters in an eagerly awaited encounter, as welterweight Joel Julio (27-0, 24 KOs), from Monteria, Colombia, now living in Miami, Fla., takes on highly ranked challenger Carlos Quintana (22-0, 18 KOs), from Moca, Puerto Rico, in a scheduled 12-round contest. Julio is described by ESPN The Magazine as "the boxing equivalent" of a five-tool baseball player who has "ring savvy, terrific speed, great footwork and power in both hands."

The night of boxing action begins on HBO at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) with the presentation of the movie "Cinderella Man," starring Russell Crowe.
