NAT GOTTLIEB

updated April 14, 2006

Nat Gottlieb is a former sportswriter/columnist for The Star-Ledger in New Jersey. The first fight he covered was in Detroit, when a fiercely intense Tommy Hearns won his first championship, a brutal 2d round TKO of Pipino Cuevas. In addition to covering boxing for the newspaper, he did stints as beat writer for the Knicks, college basketball and horse racing.

Nat has also published two novels, "Stinger" and "The Zukovka Experiment," and written three plays that were performed in showcase in New York and Los Angeles -- all of which he directed and acted in.

Currently he is writing screenplays with an established screenwriter/documentary director in Los Angeles.
