Executive Producer
David Knoller
After working as an actor, David Knoller moved behind the camera as a producer and director, producing live music specials, scripted series, and feature films. He is most proud of his work with Judd Apatow on the pilot of 'Freaks & Geeks,' Darren Star on the series 'Gross Pointe,' and his work at HBO which includes the period film 'America's Dream' starring Danny Glover and Wesley Snipes, which he won both a CableACE and NAACP Image award for Best Dramatic Special, the Emmy®-wining 1930s drama 'Carnivalé,' and of course 'Big Love.'
As a director, his credits include the Bright/Kauffman/Crane comedy series' 'Jesse' with Christina Applegate, 'Gross Pointe,' 'Carnivalé,' and 'Big Love.'
He runs KNOLLWOOD PRODUCTIONS along with his wife, 'Friends' Producer Wendy Knoller, previously developing projects such as FOX's 'Kitchen Confidential,' based on the book by Anthony Bourdain and presently with HBO Entertainment.
David Knoller was born in Los Angeles, California and is the very proud father of two sons.
