Born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada, Shawn Doyle has quickly become a familiar face to audiences, turning out critically acclaimed performances on both the big and small screen.
In Canada, Shawn starred in the critically-acclaimed series "The Eleventh Hour," and received the 2002 ACTRA Award for Outstanding Male Performance in a series. In 1999, he received a Gemini nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as "McKeighan" in the gritty primetime drama series, "The City." Other Canadian television credits include "Scar Tissue," "A Killing Spring," (which earned him another Gemini nomination for Best Actor), "Criminal Instinct," "Verdict In Blood," "Sleeping Dogs Lie," "Peacekeepers," and the miniseries, "Dieppe."
With his move to Los Angeles in 2005, Shawn quickly amassed an impressive list of credits with recurring roles on "Desperate Housewives" and "24." He also had guest starring roles in "C.S.I." and "Blind Justice."
Shawn's film credits include "Sabah," "The Majestic," "Don't Say A Word," "Cletis Tout," "Frequency," "Knockaround Guys," "Long Kiss Goodnight," and "Papertrail."
On stage, Shawn has performed in a long list of plays both contemporary and classical.
