Born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada, Shawn Doyle has quickly become a familiar face to audiences, turning out critically acclaimed performances on both the big and small screen.
In Canada, Shawn starred in the critically-acclaimed series The Eleventh Hour, and received the 2002 ACTRA Award for Outstanding Male Performance in a Series.
In 1999, he received a Gemini nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as McKeighan in the gritty primetime drama series The City. Other Canadian television credits include Scar Tissue, A Killing Spring, (which earned him another Gemini nomination for Best Actor), Criminal Instinct, Verdict In Blood, Sleeping Dogs Lie, Peacekeepers, and the miniseries Dieppe.
With his move to Los Angeles in 2005, Shawn quickly amassed an impressive list of credits with recurring roles on Desperate Housewives and 24. He also had guest starring roles in C.S.I. and Blind Justice.
Shawn's film credits include Sabah, The Majestic, Don't Say A Word, Cletis Tout,Frequency, Knockaround Guys, The Long Kiss Goodnight, and Papertrail.
On stage, Shawn has performed in a long list of plays both contemporary and classical.
