The Margo Prade Story
On November 26, 1997 in Akron, OH, the body of Dr. Margo Prade was found in her van, in the lot of the medical center where she worked. Prade had been shot six times, with evidence indicating she had put up a struggle. Police contacted Prade's ex-husband, Police Captain Douglas Prade (seen left), but he passed a polygraph test and was cleared of suspicion.

At Dr. Prade's autopsy, pathologists found a bite mark that penetrated her lab coat, blouse and arm (seen right). Dental impressions were made of everyone who had been a suspect in the case -- including Captain Prade.

Altough Captain Prade had upper dentures, his bottom teeth had distinctive irregularities that Forensic Dentist Lowell Levine matched to the victim's wound. Found guilty of murder, Captain Prade was sentenced 30 years to life.
