The Angel of Death
After a motorcycle accident landed him in a Cincinnati hospital, John Powell seemed on his way to recovery -- until he died suddenly in his bed. Conducting a routine autopsy, Dr. Lee Lehman discovered something that was decidedly not routine: cyanide in Powell's stomach.
After a police investigation, nurse's aid Donald Harvey (aka the "Angel of Death" - pictured above right) confessed to killing Powell and dozens of others by lethal injection -- making him one of history's worst serial killers.
