Autopsy 8: Dead Giveaway
Episode 8

Among the cases:

Pure Evil
During the 1990 Christmas holidays, the mood among Toronto residents was tempered by the knowledge that 12 women had been raped there over three years, with the culprit still at large. Still, a pair of sisters, Karla and Tammy Homolka, found time to celebrate Karla's engagement to Paul Bernardo at the Homolka family home. Before the night was over, however, 15-year-old Tammy was dead.

The Lady Vanishes
George Eckersley reported that his wife of 4 years, Bernice, disappeared with the couple's new car. A woman fitting Bernice’s description was seen in the car at a nearby resort, but the trail ended there.

Mail Rape
In 1997, Anthony Turner was arrested for raping three women, and convicted based on DNA evidence. Turner insisted he was innocent, ignoring the fact that the odds that two people share the same DNA are 3 trillion to one.

The Bloodhound of Detroit
In December 1999, after customers at a Dearborn, MI diner complained of odors wafting out of a dumpster, police discovered not yesterday's Sloppy Joe — but the decaying remains of human arms and legs wrapped in plastic.

The Medicine Man
Meet Dr. William Sybers, no less than the chief medical examiner of Northwest Florida, who had been married to his wife Kay for over 30 years. When Kay unexpectedly died one morning in 1991, William ordered that no autopsy be performed, explaining that his wife had a phobia of such things. By the time authorities overturned Sybers' orders, embalming fluid had replaced Kay's blood, so no biological tests could be performed on the woman, though suspicious pathologists decided to keep Kay's liver and heart preserved.

Belle of Them All
In 1908, a fire broke out on Belle Gunness's pig farm in Indiana. Gunness, a widow with a penchant for attracting men who disappeared after meeting her, herself disappeared after the fire. Amidst the ashes, shocked police found the bodies of ten folks who turned out to have been killed by strychnine and arsenic.
