Samuel B. Bacharach, Ph.D.

Samuel B. Bacharach is the McKelvey-Grant Professor at the ILR School at Cornell University. He is the director of Cornell's New York City-based Smithers Institute for Alcohol-Related Workplace Studies. The Institute is committed to conducting academic research focusing on the prevention and treatment of alcohol and other drug use in the workplace. Bacharach has directed research projects ranging the creation and implementation of Member Assistance Programs to the effect of retirement on drinking behavior. His research on alcohol and the workplace has been published in many academic journals.
